Today, the NCAA Division I Council passed new recruiting legislation per the proposal of the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association).
The new legislation establishes September 1st of a PSA’s junior year as the date when all direct recruiting contact with a PSA and her family is permitted to begin. This essentially aligns the start date for all recruiting activities with no distinction between on-campus and off-campus contact, incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails.
