Three
Ultimate coaches are currently representing this country on the US
Elite and US Developmental teams. Holly McGarvie, a junior at Princeton
University, not only represents the US on the Developmental Lacrosse
Team, but also plays field hockey and lacrosse for Princeton. Holly's
competitive drive and overall desire to succeed makes her a great player,
as well as an excellent teacher of the game.
Michele DeJuliis and Elizabeth
Pillion, current members of the US Elite team, have been selected
to represent the US as two of the eighteen
members chosen to compete at the Prague Cup this summer in anticipation
for the 2009 World Cup, also being held in Prague. Michele is currently
the longest standing member of the US Elite team, and is the foundation
for the program. A US team member for four years, Elizabeth’s
athleticism and game sense make her one of the most exciting young
players currently playing the game. Other Ultimate coaches who have
been members of our National Teams include Rachael Becker and Jami
Wilus. One of the greatest defenders in the history of the game, Rachael
was a member of the 2005 World Cup team. Jami, recently inducted into
La Salle’s Hall of Athletes for her stellar four year career
in both field hockey and lacrosse was a member of the Developmental
